Happy Songkran Day

On Friday, 7th April, Meritton celebrated Songkran with vibrant Thai traditions at school!
From crafting ‘Tung Sai Moo (ตุงไส้หมู)’ to Thai dancing, from making tasty Thai iced desserts to playing traditional games, we soaked up the fun-filled festivities provided by the Thai language and culture department. Decorating sand pagodas added a touch of creativity, while blessings from our beloved teachers filled us with gratitude and blessings. Every students and staff came to school in their traditional Lanna outfits or bright floral shirts.
Songkran at Meritton British International School was brimming with joy, laughter, and Thai cultural richness!
