Admission Process

Admission Process

Meritton accepts applications for enrollment throughout the year. Acceptance is contingent on meeting the admission standards, acceptance of year level placement and availability of space at the appropriate year level.

Outline of Admissions Process

1. School Visit
Before submitting an application to Meritton, we advise all families to come and visit our school virtually or in person. School tours can be arranged via our online forms or by calling 091 440 8880 x 1

2. Submit an Application
You will be requested to submit:
(1) Student application form
(2) Copies of the student’s two most recent school reports (unless the child is enrolling at school for the first time) to the school office or email to: admissions@merittonbritish.com.

3. Student Placement Test
Students are assessed for English and numeracy skills as well as general academic knowledge and personal attributes. For Early Years students emphasis focuses more on readiness for school socially and emotionally. We also meet with parents to go over school regulations and expectations.

A 1,000 baht Application and Placement Test fee is payable on the day.

4. Assessment Outcome
The principal makes the final admissions decision based on the assessor’s recommendation.
Parents will be informed of the outcome in writing within 3 working days. Once accepted by the parents, and once all supporting documents have been received, an invoice for enrolment fees is issued stating the deadline for payment.
