Our Curriculum

At Meritton British International School, we adhere to a globally recognised curriculum framework, structured across three key educational stages:

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)

 For children aged 3-5 years

  • Based on the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework from the United Kingdom
  • Encourages foundational learning through engaging and interactive activities
  • Supports the development of physical, emotional, social, and linguistic skills
Primary Education (Cambridge Primary Curriculum)

For children aged 5-11 years (Year 1-6)

  • Follows the Cambridge Primary International Curriculum
  • Core subjects: English, Mathematics, Units of Exploration
  • Additional subjects: Art, Physical Education, and Digital Literacy
  • Thai language studies in accordance with the Ministry of Education’s guidelines
Secondary Education (Cambridge Lower Secondary & IGCSE)

 For students aged 11-16 years (Years 7-11)

  • Follows the Cambridge Lower Secondary Curriculum
  • Introduction of Cambridge IGCSE from the 2024/2025 academic year
  • Expansion to include Cambridge International AS & A Level from 2026 onwards
