Values-based Recruitment

Meritton British International School recruits teachers and support staff who are committed to bringing positive values to their work. Just as we expect our students to practise school values like Responsibility, Respect, Integrity and Kindness every day, we hire professionals who are committed to being their role models.

Joining the Meritton community means you will be part of a passionate, ethical, and motivated team who are dedicated to helping our students excel in all areas of their school life.

Qualifications

Teachers must hold, at minimum, a bachelor’s degree and internationally recognised teaching certification from their home country (eg, PGCE, BEd, US state teaching licence).

Safeguarding

In line with the school’s commitment to safeguarding, every applicant must provide full and verifiable details of their working history and names of at least three references, including that of their most recent employer. Police and Child Protection checks are mandatory for all staff at Meritton.

How and When to Apply

Our teaching recruitment period is normally between December and April. However, we accept applications throughout the year and occasionally have staff needs mid-term. We welcome enquiries about future opportunities from interested applicants all year.
