We are delighted to share the wonderful highlights of our recent end-of-year event, which took place on Friday, the 16th of June, at the Royal Park Rajapruek. Our End of Year Celebration event was a day filled with happiness, laughter, and enchanting figures straight out of a fairytale. We were glad to see the happy faces of our students before their long holiday.

We began with Thai dancing, known as “รำอวยพร,” as we wished for the day to proceed smoothly and with great joy. Next, we invited the youngest pupils from the pre-nursery class to dance to the tune of “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star,” followed by performances from our after-school pop-dance clubs and singing club.

Our Highlight Show
Enchanted Neverland: The Peter Pan Musical presented by Meritton British International School

After months of preparation, prop-making, singing practice, dancing rehearsals, and script memorization, the Meritton team successfully brought together a truly unforgettable show. The entire performance lasted 60 minutes and featured 12 songs and a complete script. This musical exemplified the spirit of unity within our school community, highlighting the values of teamwork, responsibility, respect, perseverance, and a positive mindset. It was an inclusive production that engaged students from Early Years to Lower Secondary, ensuring that everyone had the opportunity to participate and enjoy.

We hope that all the characters: the pirates; the lost boys; the wild warriors; the sea creatures; the stars, clouds, and moons; the fairies; the mermaids; the croc; the family members; and the narrators, will look back and reflect upon this incredible show. Our dedicated efforts have been rewarded, leaving us with cherished memories that will endure.

The Transition Ceremonies
The transition ceremonies marked the beginning of our students’ journey towards the next significant academic milestones. Ms. Liz bid farewell to her pupils, and Mr. Joe, the primary coordinator, warmly welcomed them into Year One for the upcoming academic year.

We were also honoured to have representatives from our secondary school give inspiring speeches. Their goal was to warmly welcome and give valuable advice to our Year Six students as they get ready to move on to Year Seven.

We want to emphasise how important these transitions are for the Reception and Year Six families at Meritton. Always remember that we have full confidence in your abilities. You have the power to surpass expectations, and we wholeheartedly support you on this amazing journey. Embrace this time of transition as an opportunity for personal growth and exploration. We can’t wait to see your continued success in the coming years!
