Celebrating Creativity, Community and Young Talent at Meritton British International School

Meritton British International School proudly hosted its first Art and Music Afternoon Tea Exhibition, a vibrant school event that brought together the colours of student artwork and the inspiring sounds of live music. Our campus came alive as pupils, parents, teachers and families gathered to celebrate creativity in its most genuine and heartfelt form.

This special exhibition highlighted the importance of art and music in education. It provided students with an opportunity to express themselves, showcase their talents and build confidence through performance and hands-on creative activities.

Event Highlights

Live Music Performances

Our young musicians performed with confidence and enthusiasm, sharing pieces that reflected their dedication and passion. Their performances filled the hall with warmth, harmony and a strong sense of community.

Creative Art and Craft Workshops

Families enjoyed a variety of workshops designed to spark imagination and encourage hands-on learning, including:

  • Basic clay pottery with the Ban Mueng Kung craft community
  • Batik T-shirt painting
  • Magnet and badge making
  • Bookmark colouring activities

Afternoon Tea and Refreshments

Guests relaxed and enjoyed an assortment of afternoon tea, desserts and refreshments that complemented the calm and creative atmosphere of the event.

Student Art Exhibition and Silent Auction

Beautiful artworks created by Meritton pupils were proudly displayed throughout the exhibition. Visitors admired and purchased art pieces, while selected works were featured in a silent auction that raised funds for meaningful community causes.

Supporting Young Artists and Community Projects

The Art and Music Afternoon Tea Exhibition was more than a celebration of creativity. It honoured our young artists and musicians who continue to express their imagination and passion in ways that connect us all. Art and music speak a universal language that inspires, uplifts and brings people together.

All proceeds from the event were donated to the following causes:

  • Suandok Hospital Foundation, supporting underprivileged patients
  • Animal Welfare Fund, assisting with treatment and care for injured cats such as Choji
  • Meritton Student Council, supporting student activities and programmes

A sincere thank you to Baan Muang Kung (บ้านเหมืองกุง) for partnering with us and offering their expertise in the clay pottery workshop.

Thank you to all Meritton families, teachers, staff and pupils for your presence, your support and the beautiful expressions of art and music you shared. Your involvement filled the event with joy, creativity and a strong sense of community. We look forward to hosting more inspiring art and music events at Meritton British International School.
